MY SHOW REPORTS
2017 This was a very good show well supported by the public and exhibitors alike. The downside was that this was to be Ron Ward's last show. Once again the success of the day was a credit for all his hard work.
2016 Once again it was a good show but entries were down due mainly to the lack of sun in May & June.
2015 What a show once again. 18 exhibitors staged 345 plants. Taking into account the dreadful growing conditions experienced by most of us this year it is an outstanding achievement. No doubt about it in my mind, this has to be one of the most friendly societies around. Everyone who has a job to do, does it without complaint. It is a pleasure and honour to exhibit here and long may it continue.
2014 The show this year was on Sunday 29th June and the venue was Hunmanby Community Centre. The weather once again played a pivotal factor with the plants being in flower so early this year. The 20 exhibitors have to be commended for the enormous effort that they must have put in to get the vast array of plants on the show bench, 394 in total. It was a fantastic show and puts it up there as the BEST PELARGONIUM SHOW IN THE COUNTRY, (in my opinion). 'The Refreshments were a bit good as well'. Congratulations to Ron and his hard working band of helpers for staging a terrific show.
2013 The show this year was on Sunday 23rd June, at Hunmanby Community Centre. Taking into account the way the weather has affected plants this year the show was an incredible achievement for the amount of exhibits and the quality of the plants. Well done to all fellow members and exhibitors who helped once again to make this show a FLORAL EXTRAVAGANZA.
2012 The show this year was outstanding and a credit to all the members who had a hand in making it the great success it was. Well done to all the Exhibitors who put some great plants onto the show benches, this was easily the highlight of my showing season and I cannot praise it enough.
2011 What a show this year, well done to all who helped to make the day the great success it was. Taking into account the difficult growing conditions experienced this year, there were plenty of quality plants on the show bench.
2010 This show did not disappoint. Plenty of quality plants filled the hall, and to me was easily on par with the PAGS National Show held at Capel Manor.
2009 Looking forward to exhibiting here again, as it was a cracking show this year
